Google's new Datally app lets you keep track of apps' data usage, control it

Google has launched aimed at helping you track, control and save on mobile data dubbed Datally.


It tracks real-time mobile data usage for individual apps, as well as overall usage through hourly, daily, weekly and monthly stats. It also lets you control background apps data usage by turning on the Data Saver bubble, and helps you save data by offering personalized recommendations and notifying if you’re near public Wi-Fi.




The company has been testing the app for the past few months in the Philippines, and has now made it available globally. Datally is compatible with devices running Android 5.0 and up. You can grab it by heading to the Google Play link below.
