Honor to launch a bezel-less phone on December 5

Honor just introduced the 7X, but another announcement is just around the corner. The company sent out media invites for an event in London. December 5 will be the day a smartphone with barely existent bezels will be introduced.

The invitation runs the slogan “Max your view”, suggesting a phablet with rounded corners and a 2.5D curved screen is being announced. The poster also reveals that the bezel-less Honor will have dual cameras (the OO part of the #IOOI tag) and will be AI-focused (the second O is modeled to look like a droid). Given that Huawei recently announced the Kirin 970 chipset with a focus on AI, this will likely be powering the new phone.

It is way too early to know details about the phone, but Honor might unveil the Note 9, a follow-up of the Honor Note 8 that arrived back in September 2016. Alternatively, we could get a new Honor 10 flagship - or, if we are lucky, we could get both - there are two phones in the image after all.
