Huawei Honor 9 crosses 350,000 registrations in a day

Just a day after it was unveiled, the Huawei Honor 9 has already received more that 350,000 registrations. What's worth mentioning here is that this figure is for a single retailer (JD.com) - the device will also be available through Vmall and six other Chinese retailers - so the actual number is likely much higher.

Keep in mind that number of registrations is just an indication of the level of interest. As no money changes hands in this process, you shouldn't confuse registrations with pre-orders.

The device is priced at CNY 2,700 ($400/€355) for the 64GB model and CNY 3,000 ($440/€395) for the 128GB variant. It will go on sale starting June 16 (Friday this week).
