Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 lands in the US on March 24 for $599.99
That premature Best Buy listing from a couple
of days ago was right, as it turns out. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 really is
going to cost $599.99 in the US. The price has been made official by the Korean
company today.
Additionally, we also get launch details. The
tablet will be up for pre-order starting tomorrow (coincidentally or not, at
the same time as the LG G6), and it will become available on March 24, which is
next Friday. At the same time the keyboard accessory for the tablet goes on
sale for $129.99.
Pre-orders will be taken care of by Samsung's
own online store as well as "select retailers such as Best Buy and
Amazon". You'll be able to choose from black and silver for color options.
The Galaxy Tab S3 pairs a 9.7-inch
2,048x1,536 Super AMOLED display with HDR support with quad speakers tuned by
AKG for entertainment purposes. The tablet ships with the iconic S Pen in the
box, which is billed as a productivity tool along with the optional keyboard.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 820, aided by 4GB of RAM and 32GB of
expandable storage. It's kept running by a 6,000 mAh cell and boots Android 7.0
Nougat.
