Superpower your smarthome with Sen.se ‘SensePeanuts’

Today at IFA, Sen.se revealed their latest addition to the Internet of Things by rolling out a product they’re calling SensePeanuts. These affordable smarthome augmenters cost just $29 and come in a variety of specializations that determine what kind of task or activity they can monitor.

For instance, the ThermoPeanut monitors the air temperature wherever it’s placed, interacting with your smarthome’s climate system to make sure it’s locale stays just the right temperature. The SleepPeanut will track your sleeping habits, the MedPeanut will help you keep track of all your meds, and the PeanutButton can be paired with a slew of everyday items and given customized programming.

The ThermoPeanut will be arriving first, and Rafi Haladjian, founder and CEO of Sen.se, expounds on its utility:

SensePeanuts are designed to bring people the benefits of smart life automation without the need for costly or complicated solutions. We are thrilled to launch ThermoPeanut as the first in the line. Whether you are monitoring room temperatures, making sure your refrigerator is cooling properly or keeping a server room at an optimal level, ThermoPeanut takes the guesswork out of temperature tracking and thanks to integrations with partners such as NEST and IFTTT, allows users to take action when issues arise.”

Sen.se says that they’ll be rolling out new Peanuts to add to the selection that will be available at launch, and you can expect to get your hands on these when they hit the market in the next few weeks. Initially just the ThermoPeanut will be available, but it’s sister products will be rolling out over the remainder of Fall 2016.
