No, this is not a Samsung Galaxy S8 running Windows 10 Mobile

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is has been widely lauded as the best smartphone of 2017, mainly due to its attractive hardware, and no true Windows Phone fan would not love to see it run Windows 10 Mobile.

Photos hailing from China would, therefore, seem like a dream come true for some, but unfortunately, it is pretty clear that they do not represent reality.

Leaving aside the fact that as far as we know Windows 10 Mobile does not support the Snapdragon 835 processor, the clear presence of Samsung’s proprietary swipe menu shows that it is merely a full-screen screenshot.

Of course, you can buy a Samsung Galaxy S8 infused with Microsoft software, and directly from Microsoft also. Unfortunately, it still runs Android, but then at Build 2017 Microsoft has shown that they plan to embrace and extend that OS as much as humanly possible to make it a full member of the Microsoft ecosystem.
