Samsung power bank for Galaxy S8 leaks in two colors

As Samsung did with the Note7, the company will be unveiling a slew of official accessories for the Galaxy S8 and S8+. We’ve already seen the alleged new AKG earbuds that will be coming bundled with the new smartphones and today we are taking a look at a new power bank that was leaked in a couple of different colors.

The power bank in question has leaked in grey and blue shades. It’s a 5,100 mAh power bank that will be capable of quick charging the new Galaxy devices, with a top limit of 15W for both charging up the new phone, or the power bank itself. Regardless, this indicates Samsung likely has not implemented a faster charging technology since the Galaxy S6 and Note 4.

The power bank will carry a model number: EB-PG950, which aligns with the model numbers assigned to the Galaxy S8 and S8+: SM-G95XY ( Where “X” could be ‘5’ or ‘0’ and "Y" is market dependent). Finally, the power bank is said to become available for 60 EU. While that is on the pricier side for power banks these days, just remember this is an official Samsung accessory.
