Here is a Korean teaser for the Galaxy S8
A new teaser out of Korea features a
sequential countdown to the number '8'. Then, a guy walks across the room
toward a door that mimics the shape of the Galaxy S8, complete with rounded
corners. A text appears on the screen that says (when translated): “Completion
and new beginning”. Which must signify a significant change in what Samsung has
been doing up to this point.
As the door slams open, outer space makes an
appearance (This is where “Galaxy” comes into play), complete with little
asteroids and rocks popping back at you, which could indicate Samsung intends
to continue with the VR trend, or who knows, maybe the S8 will feature some AR
elements that won’t require additional hardware.
The announcement date appears over the screen
as March 30. Given the huge time gap, Korea will see the announcement at the
same time as the New York City and London launch events. We’ll be at Samsung
Unpacked in New York City to see the Galaxy S8 on site.

Samsung’s newest phone has yet to be
announced, yet so many leaks of the unreleased device have been circulating the
internet. Today, Samsung also revealed its new Bixby assistant, which will
debut on the Galaxy S8.
The Galaxy S8 will be announced alongside a
larger model, the Galaxy S8+. The former will have a 5.7-inch screen while the
latter will feature a much larger 6.2-inch glass panel. We are also expecting
to see a 12MP camera, adjacent to a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a
completely new move for Samsung. It will also be among the first to feature a
Snapdragon 835 CPU or the Exynos 8895 depending on your market.
