T-Mobile iPhone trade-in promo can get you the latest for only $100

Can’t wait for the next iPhones to come out? Thinking of getting an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus but it’s just too darn expensive? Don’t want to settle for a refurb or pre-owned unit?



T-Mobile has your number, but only if you’ve got another iPhone you can trade in.

You can get a 16GB iPhone 6s for only $100 if you trade in an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus or an iPhone 6s Plus for some reason. The price jumps to $350 if you give up an iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s or iPhone SE. For a 16GB iPhone 6s Plus, it’s $100 for an iPhone 6 Plus swap, $200 for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s and $450 for all iPhone 5 devices plus the SE.

Want more storage on your new device? It’s an extra $100 to the price tag for a 64GB phone and $200 for 128GB.

Make sure you own your device and don’t have an outstanding balance for it. Set “Find My Phone” off, make sure the phone works as intended, don’t have a cracked screen and you should be all set. The price of the phone will be discounted with bill credits over a 24-month installment plan.

The offer can’t be combined with any other ones, so if you’re switching on to T-Mo, maybe you should find another offer to play with. Just make sure that if you want to hop on board, you do it soon.

Updated Google Contacts app makes it easier to get rid of duplicates

Google is pushing out an updated version of its contacts management app, bringing some of the features available in the web version to the Android app. The v 1.5 update reorganizes the user interface of Google Contacts. Instead of the two tabs – all and favorites – the app now just displays your entire contact list, with a sidebar menu available via the hamburger button on the left. Opening that up reveals a new section for managing duplicate contacts. That’s a feature that was present on the web app of Contacts , but the process was more convoluted on the Android app. You can now also add labels to your contacts, making it easy to organize large contact lists based on groups, for things like family, work, or school. LG showcases new rollable 65” OLED display

LG Display used CES 2018 in Las Vegas to officially unveil its new OLED displays - one of them being a 65-inch 4K flexible screen that can be rolled like a newspaper. The other is an 88” 8K OLED panel that we told you about last week. The flexibility of the 65” OLED display makes it easier to transport or store in the corner. Its small size allows for better space utilization, meaning you can take the TV anytime, anywhere and “enjoy bright, high-resolution content”. LG Display will also showcase its latest upgrades of the IPS technology. The panels now have IPS nano-color, “which expresses rich colors using nanoscale high-color reproduction particles, and IPS technology, which increases the transmittance and reduces the intensity of light reflected on the panel.”, said the company in a press release.
