Best Buy shaves up to $170 off refurbished iPhone SE with warranty in all colors

If India doesn’t want them, America will probably take every last one of them, and ask for more. We’re talking of course about refurbished, aka pre-owned, iPhones, on sale today at Best Buy, no doubt in (extremely) limited quantities.

Even more specifically, you’re looking at mint-condition, like-new iPhone SE units here, available for as little as $270 in a full range of snazzy paint jobs, with Verizon, AT&T and Sprint compatibility, as well as one-year warranties fulfilled by the retailer whose “Geek Squad” restored the devices to their original, out-the-box state.

270 bucks hooks you up with an iOS 10-ready Apple A9-powered 4-incher capable of accommodating just 16 gigs of data internally, while 64GB variants in silver, space gray, gold or rose gold set you back $330 a pop.

Normally, you’d be charged $400 and $500 respectively, so today’s discounts range from $130 to a hefty (by Cupertino standards) $170, as long as you don’t have a problem rocking a handheld that was someone else’s property first. The only way you could ever purchase an iPhone SE for less money, mind you, would be to go the prepaid route, and nothing’s going to change that for many months to come.
